Desert Dreamer

Nobody could ever accuse the design of the Desert Dreamer cardigan of being in any way understated. If its rich geometric pattern was any warmer, it would spontaneously combust. The array of triangles and diamonds in earthy terracotta and deep red tones is so intense that it must have been inspired by the kind of vision quest that ends with the seeker passing out from heatstroke. Nature herself would look overdressed in this garment, yet it seems that the fabric is both soft and durable. The stitching around the edges is so neat that the garment might have been assembled by desert ants. The result is a visual display so overpowering that it suggests the wearer might want to take care what else they put on. The Desert Dreamer cardigan is the kind of item that looks most at home in a landscape of giant cacti. It’s hard to imagine it being stowed in a cupboard, let alone hung in a closet. It might have to be stored in a specially equipped shrine.
