Electric Vibes

In the matter of the "Electric Vibes" outfit, the first thing to note is that the t-shirt is light in colour and slightly oversized, as if the fashion world had decided that it was time for the human torso to look smaller and the human head to look larger. To the same end, the t-shirt features a graphic design of a lightning bolt, filled with green dots and framed with colourful borders in red and blue. The purpose of the green dots is not clear. Perhaps they are there to represent the ancient cosmological theory that the world is made up of atoms, or possibly to suggest that the t-shirt has been worn in the vicinity of a paintball battle. The lightning bolt, however, is a touch of genius, since it suggests that the wearer is electrifying, or at least that electricity is involved. The distressing look is supplied by a few small cutouts near the neckline, a detail that will remind the mature observer of the time when t-shirts were new, and the young of the time when they were old.
