Nature's Whisper Dress

This dress brings back the days of the hippie, when the natural look meant something more than just being too idle to put on any makeup. The primary shade is a soft olive green, a colour that was once called sage because it looked as though it might have been dusted with the herb, which is more than you can say for your average new-age crystal. The dress is decorated with a pattern that contains flowers and circular motifs, the latter probably representing the cycles of nature, or perhaps the cycles of the moon. With a hemline that reaches down to the floor, the dress is as long as a hippie’s conversation, but the tiers on the way add movement, not to mention a touch of the gypsy. The neckline is a V, for Venus, and the waist can be adjusted by means of a drawstring, which the hippie could have used to keep his yurt upright. The dress is not lined, so you can get in touch with your own rhythms, and the fabric is a blend that includes viscose, which is another word for rayon, which is another word for the thing they make it out of.
