In the swimsuit world, a leopard print is always the right answer. The leopard print, as seen here in shades of black on a background that is either nude or beige, is the first thing to strike the eye. But it won’t be the last. The plunging neckline adds a touch so trendy that the word “trendy” hardly covers it. The swimsuit’s shape is further defined by the cut-out feature at the center, embellished with a circular ring. The silhouette is therefore sleek, but not so sleek as to preclude a certain amount of animal high spirits. The thin straps tie at the neck, creating a racer-back style. The whole effect is fashionable in a way that won’t go out of fashion. The fabric is probably that sleek and stretchy blend of nylon and spandex that lets you move without thinking about it, and dries almost as quickly as you get out of the water. It’s a swimsuit that dares you to call it beachwear.
